Katherine Ruocco (Republican Party) ran for election for judge of the Illinois 5th District Appellate Court. She lost in the Republican primary on March 17, 2020.

Ruocco was a 2016 Republican candidate for District 113 of the Illinois House of Representatives.

Biography

Ruocco earned her B.S. in business administration from the University of Missouri - St. Louis in 1993. She went on to earn her MBA from Lindenwood University in 1996. After working for several years, Ruocco earned her J.D. from the St. Louis University School of Law in 2003.[1]

Since 2003, Ruocco has been in private practice focusing on legal service to the elderly, veterans and the disabled.[1] She also serves as a Village Swansea Trustee.[2]
