Michael Young was a 2013 Republican candidate for District 33 of the Iowa House of Representatives.[1]

Young ran in the 2013 election for Iowa House of Representatives District 33. The seat was vacant following Kevin McCarthy's (D) resignation to work in the Iowa Attorney General's office. Young was defeated by Brian Meyer (D) in the special election, which took place on October 22.[2][3][1][4]
