The Missouri Allow Legislature to Limit Property Tax Assessment Increases Amendment was not on the ballot in Missouri as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment on November 8, 2022.[1]
This amendment would have allowed the legislature by law to limit how much the assessed value of real property could increase from one assessment to the next.[2]

To put a legislatively referred constitutional amendment before voters, a simple majority vote is required in both the Missouri State Senate and the Missouri House of Representatives.
On April 20, 2022, the state Senate approved Senate Joint Resolution 39 proposing this amendment by a vote of 27-7.[1] This measure did not receive a vote in the state House before the legislative session adjourned.
