Balestriere ran in the 2012 election for Connecticut House of Representatives District 148. Balestriere ran unopposed in the Republican primary on August 14, 2012. He faced Dan Fox (D) and Rolf W. Maurer (G) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2][3] Balestriere was defeated in the general election.[4]
2010
Balestriere ran in the 2010 election for Connecticut State House District 148. Balestriere defeated Ralph Antonacci in the Republican primary election on August 10, 2010, and was defeated by incumbent Carlo Leone (D) in the general election on November 2, 2010.[5][6]
