Biography

Hodge-Mustafa earned a B.A. in communications from Shaw University in 1999.She has worked in human resources for Time Warner Inc. and in brand marketing for Bank of America.[1]

The city of Charlotte, North Carolina, held elections for mayor and city council on November 3, 2015. A primary took place on September 15, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was July 17, 2015.[2] In the District 3 race, incumbent LaWana Mayfield defeated Rosa Hodge-Mustafa and Warren F. Turner in the Democratic, while Eric Wayne Netter was unopposed in the Republican primary. Mayfield defeated Netter in the general election.[3][4][5]
