The city of Chicago, Illinois, held elections for city council on February 24, 2015. A runoff will take place in Ward 33 on April 7, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was November 24, 2014.[1] In the general election for Ward 33, incumbent Deb Mell and Tim Meegan advanced past Annisa Wanat.[2] Mell and Meegan faced each other in a runoff election on April 7, 2015. Tyler Solorio was removed from the ballot.[3]
