Davis ran in the 2012 election for West Virginia House of Delegates, District 16. Davis and incumbent Carol Miller advanced unopposed in the May 8 primary election. He was defeated by Carol Miller, incumbent Kevin J. Craig, Sean Hornbuckle, and incumbent Jim Morgan in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2][3]
