Marlon Molina was a 2016 candidate for District 17 of the New York City Council in New York. He was defeated in the special election on February 23, 2016.

Molina was born in Honduras and came to the United States when he was 11 years old. He attended South Bronx High School. Molina's professional experience includes working as a banker, serving as a member of the Bronx Community Board 3 and co-founding the Bronx Volunteer Coalition. He has also worked as an organizer for the Northwest Bronx Coalition.[1]
