I am a mother, a small business owner and a realtor in Cobb County, GA. I watched many residents lose their homes and businesses due to the pandemic, I am running to help Georgia residents rebuild.
  • Our community needs access to increased and fully funded healthcare including mental health services.
  • Our schools need to be institutions of educational equity where diversity is embraced in our community.  Schools should be safe havens for diverse cultures, for critical thinking and social-emotional learning.
  • Our community needs policies to fix unfair eviction practices and increase access to affordable housing. A person who suffers eviction can’t purchase a 400K home or afford 2500 in rent.
During the pandemic, I continue to see the losses of my neighbors reflected in my personal story.

Small business owners without access to resources and influence could not secure PPP loans, eventually losing everything.

Friends and neighbors continue to face evictions, losing their equity and savings with impacting the following .

Teachers and schools are overwhelmed by divisive politics as they bravely manage crises on every front.

Many families are overwhelmed when they can not support the mental health challenges of loved ones.
The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is the person I consider to be the genesis of who I am today. He dedicated his life to advancing the entire population of Americans of all colors.
Because of his sacrifice, he made the American dream possible for me and many, many others.
Integrity is the most important principle for an elected official. Honesty and transparency provide the accountability that voters deserve from the persons they have elected. An official must maintain an unwavering focus on the needs of all citizens. Officials are elected to serve the needs of the people, not themselves.
I have years of practical experience in small business management and community activism. Regular successes include coordinating individuals of varying backgrounds, skills, and political views. These two qualities along with my compassionate and dedicated focus on the success of Cobb County and GA combine to make me uniquely qualified to hold this office.
As a business owner, humanitarian and global ambassador, I want to join hands across the diverse spectrum of business interests and residents alike to build a bright future for the children and citizens of Georgia.
The sudden loss of my husband was my life’s biggest blow. I know the pain of the widow and the strength of faith that moving forward from that moment required. I also live now with the challenge of caring for my dad, my cherished hero and protector, as this strong and vibrant man has been suddenly immobilized by a health crisis.
Promoting economic security through investment in Georgia businesses, and supporting small businesses which are the heartbeat of our communities.

Improving our citizens' healthcare, including mental healthcare and disabled care.

Fully funding our schools and increasing our teachers’ pay to recruit and retain qualified educators for our children.
I do believe experience is beneficial. I have played a behind-the-scenes role in local, national and international politics, as well as appointed positions, for years. Now I’m stepping forward to serve in the Georgia State Senate in District 33.
My job as a State Senator is to serve by advancing the agenda of all the citizens of Cobb County and the state of Georgia.

I have relationships with individuals on both sides of the aisle. I’m committed to a focus on building productive relationships that serve the citizens across all of Georgia.

I believe everyone has value and should be treated fairly regardless of race, party or gender. I focus on what we have in common rather than what divides us. Georgia is an international community of diverse, talented people with connections all over the world.
My favorite joke:

‘What you put in the bank is what you get out.’

This joke embodies my philosophy of life. What you put into life is what you get out of it.
American government is collaborative by design. It does not function in the absence of collaboration.
