Shane Jett (Republican Party) is a member of the Oklahoma State Senate, representing District 17. He assumed office on November 18, 2020. His current term ends on November 18, 2026.

Jett (Republican Party) won re-election to the Oklahoma State Senate to represent District 17 outright in the Republican primary on June 18, 2024, after the general election was canceled.

Biography

Shane Jett served in the U.S. Navy Reserve from 2008 to 2020 and reached the rank of lieutenant. Jett earned a degree in international business from Oklahoma Baptist University. His career experience includes working as a consultant and as the CEO of a financial institution.[1]

Former state Senator Steve Russell, and Commissioner of the Oklahoma Corporation Commission Patrice Douglas defeated Harvey Sparks, state Rep. Mike Turner, state Sen. Clark Jolley and Jett in the Republican primary on June 24, 2014.[2]
