I am a Christian Conservative, and proven leader running to represent District 5 in the Arkansas State House. With over four decades of experience in business and public service, I bring a grounded, results-oriented perspective to government.

I have served the citizens of Harrison for 20 years as an elected official. Six years as an Alderman and 14 years as the Clerk/Treasurer for the City of Harrison. I believe my knowledge of state and local issues and procedures gives me valued insight on many areas that effect our daily lives here in Boone County.

I have owned, operated and grown two successful businesses here over the past 45 years. Starting with Quality Quick Printing, and then transitioning into real estate in 2002. I now own and operate United Country Property Connections here in Harrison, Jasper, and Branson. We are currently celebrating the 100th year anniversary of our office, which started in 1925.

I believe in service, and have always been involved in may community organizations working hard to improve the quality of life here in Boone County. I want to take that commitment to public and community service to the State Capital and put it to work for the citizens of District 5.

I believe that the residents of District 5 deserve a representative who listens, acts, and is fully accessible. I aim to bring common-sense solutions to Little Rock and make government more responsive to the everyday challenges Arkansans face.
  • Economic Prosperity & Opportunity — advocating policies that support local businesses, reduce burdensome regulations, improve infrastructure (especially in rural areas), expand broadband, and grow job opportunities.
  • Respecting Property Rights — protecting homeowners and landowners from overreach, ensuring fair compensation in eminent domain cases, and promoting balanced land use and tax fairness.
  • Transparent & Accountable Governance — championing open records, ethical conduct, and deliberate constituent engagement so that government works for people, not the other way around.
Private Property Rights, Government Oversight, Advocate for Smaller State Government and more Local Control, and Transparency in Government.
I would like to see the local citizens voice be heard in a better way at the State level.
The late US Representative John Paul Hammerschmidt. He was an awesome representative and worked hard for his constituents.
I am a strong believer in tithing...not only of your money but your time. I believe that you have a duty to tithe your time back to your community. I believe that our elected officials need to be active and serving in their districts to really value the needs of the district. I believe that a lack of service in your community will translate to lack of performance in your representation at the State level. I have always been involved in many organizations in our community and have been a strong proponent of working hard to improve our area and our way of life.
Listen...as State Rep you may not always agree with other points of view, but it is your responsibility to hear them and consider them. Who knows, you might change my mind, or we figure out some common ground that benefits all.
I would like to be remembered as a hard worker dedicated to the well beings of the citizens of District 5 and the State of Arkansas
Paper Route and delivered papers for 4 years.
The Bible...words to live by.
Public speaking...I don't mind doing public speaking, but I feel that is one of my weaknesses.
I believe that the Governor is the leader of our state. However, the legislature is the reigns to help guide the Governor based on the input from the local areas. I believe that the Legislature has a closer ear to the ground for the people than the Governor, so it is the Legislators responsibility to make those concerns known to the Governor.
I want us to take steps to help our local communities grow. I see an opportunity here in Arkansas to welcome people and employers from around the country and globe to come here and set up shop. Our way of life and dedicated work force is second to none, and would be an huge asset to any company looking to start up or expand. I believe the State could do a better job of facilitating that and help with recruiting more business to Arkansas.
I believe that it is a help to understand how things work...but should never be a requirement. I believe some experience in the operation of State and Local governments would be beneficial to a representative and make him more productive.
Yes I do. I believe a good working relationship with other representatives makes you more productive and helps you get things passed to help your district. But bottom line...that relationship must be used to support your citizens.
I always admired John Paul Hammerschmidt. He did such a good job representing our district on a federal level. He was always accessible to the people and always took the time to hear your side of the story.
Just the wonderful comments from many local constituents excited that I am running. They are excited about a representative that will continue to hear their concerns and take them to the State level.
Only as established by the state constitution.
I believe that Voter ID is a necessary tool that our election teams need to use to verify that only registered voters are taking part in our election processes.
Being recognized by my peers as Harrison Realtor of the Year five times.
