- Legislative Experience I’ve served in the Idaho Legislature before, so I know the process and the responsibility that comes with it. I can step in on day one without a learning curve. I believe in limited government, individual liberty, and accountability to the people we serve. During my time in office, I made hard calls, cast recorded votes, and worked within the system to protect Idaho values while pushing back on unnecessary growth in government power. Lawmakers owe it to the public to understand not just what a bill says, but how it actually plays out in real life.
- Real-World Perspective I’m a veteran, healthcare professional, small business owner, and commercial property manager. That background shapes how I look at policy. I see how state decisions affect patients trying to get care, families managing rising costs, and employers dealing with regulation. I don’t look at legislation in the abstract. I look at it through the lens of responsibility, risk, and accountability — the same way people do when they’re signing the front of a paycheck or making decisions that affect others every day.
- Public Service and Leadership Public service has been a constant part of my life. I served as an Army combat medic, chaired both the Ada County and District 22 Republican organizations, represented my district in the Legislature, and currently serve as chair of the Central District Health Board. Each of these roles required oversight, decision-making, and accountability for real outcomes. Together, they reflect a long-term commitment to serving Idaho thoughtfully and responsibly.

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
