Mike Porfirio (Democratic Party) is a member of the Illinois State Senate, representing District 11. He assumed office on January 11, 2023. His current term ends on January 13, 2027.
Porfirio (Democratic Party) ran for election to the Illinois State Senate to represent District 11. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Biography
Mike Porfirio was born in Bridgeview, Illinois.[1] Porfirio has served with the U.S. Navy and U.S. Navy Reserve. He earned a B.S. in history from the United States Naval Academy, an M.A. in political science from Purdue University, and an M.B.A. from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Porfirio's career experience includes working as the director of public works of the Village of Bridgeview. He has served as a trustee of Lyons Township, the chairman of the Justice-Willow Springs Water Commission, and a village administrator of the Village of Summit.[1][2]
