Seth McMillan (Republican Party) ran for election to the Illinois State Senate to represent District 48. He lost in the general election on November 6, 2018.

Biography

Seth McMillan graduated from Taylorville High School. He earned an associate degree in landscape design from Joliet Junior College in 2004 and a bachelor's degree in landscaping and groundskeeping from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale in 2006. McMillan’s career experience includes working as a high school teacher at the Lutheran School Association of Decatur and being the president and founder of McMillan Landscape Co. He served as the chairman of the Christian County Republican Central Committee.[1]
