Campaign themes
Wiener favors lower taxes, fewer regulations on businesses, and lower government spending. On social issues, he states that he is pro-life, pro-gun, and supports traditional marriage.[1]

Wiener ran in the 2012 election for Minnesota House of Representatives District 11B. He defeated Mitch Pangerl in the Republican primary on August 14 and was defeated by Tim Faust (D) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
