Chad Slane was a 2016 Republican candidate for District 60 of the Oklahoma House of Representatives.

Campaign themes

2016

Slane's campaign website highlighted the following issues:

  • I will fight against any attacks on your rights, and keep the federal government out of our state matters as explained by the 10th amendment.
  • If elected I will defend our students right to be educated by professionals in an environment that will help better prepare them for life after school. Promoting education lends itself to a more capable populous; therefore, a more prosperous economy.
  • We are doing future generations an injustice by not diversifying our economy. Industry needs to be brought into the state to insure Oklahomans can pursue happiness as our founding fathers intended.
  • As a vital part of our history, economy, and future, I want to insure farmers, ranchers, and other ag business will thrive for generations to come.
  • I believe that life is one of God's most precious gifts; therefore, the lives of the unborn should be protected. I find it peculiar that all of those for abortion make that choice after they have already been born.[1]
