Biography
Patricia Gipson’s career experience includes working as a teacher in New Jersey for 29 years. She has also served as the vice president and grievance chair for an all-inclusive National Education Association (NEA) local.[1] Gipson first won election to the New Mexico Public Education Commission in 2014 and assumed office in January 2015. She replaced Eugene Gant (D), who did not run for re-election in 2014.[2]
