Biography
Hart was born in Little Rock, Arkansas. She earned her B.S. in community health promotion from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2008 and an M.A. in international studies and conflict mediation from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2013. Hart pursued doctoral studies in population health and higher education from Texas Woman's University and in Christian counseling from the International College of Ministry. She has also earned certificates in nonprofit management and conflict mediation from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.[1]
Her career experience includes working as a population health consultant, Faith-Based counselor, nonprofit founder and executive director, government and international relations consultant, project manager, educator, and public speaker.[2]

|Ms. Hart is running as a Candidate for Iowa State Senate District 22, because she believes it is time to usher in a fresh perspective to Senate District 22 and fulfill the needs of 21st century Iowans from a Population Health approach that emphasizes economic impact via emergency management and early childhood through compulsory Early Childhood Education (ECE) through 12th grade. In addition, tackling mental health challenges with a comprehensive trauma-informed care plan that supports maternal health. Porsha knows that change for her constituents must not only focus on individuals, families, or communities, but must authentically involve said groups and structures such as the health, social service, or education and the judicial systems. Moreover, direct partnerships with multilevel governmental agencies and private-public partnerships are key in fostering progressive and sustainable change in Senate District 22.
