Robert Mikala Armstrong
Robert Mikala Armstrong (Democratic Party) ran for election to the Hawaii House of Representatives to represent District 28. He did not appear on the ballot for the Democratic primary on August 10, 2024.
Biography
Robert Mikala Armstrong was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He earned a B.S. in electronic communications from Ohio University in 1982 and a master's degree in liberal studies from Bradley University in 1989. He also earned an M.B.A. in nonprofit leadership from the Chaminade University of Honolulu in 2015.
Armstrong's career experience includes working as a nonprofit executive director. He previously worked in government, education, and broadcasting. He was also the marketing director for Governor David Ige's (D) First Summit on Homelessness. As of 2022, Armstrong was a member of the Downtown-Chinatown Neighborhood Board.[1]
