Susan Scott was a 2012 candidate for District 29 of the Nebraska Unicameral.

Scott's professional experience includes working as a public school teacher, administrator, and trainer in mental health, mental retardation, social services, and alcoholism treatment prior to starting her own consulting business.

Scott earned her bachelor's degree in English and secondary education from Creighton University and her master's degree in guidance and counseling from South Dakota State University.
