Yesoe Yoon
Yesoe Yoon (Republican Party) ran for election to the Illinois House of Representatives to represent District 17. She lost in the general election on November 3, 2020.

Biography
Yesoe Yoon received a bachelor's degree from Northeastern Illinois University in 2011 and a master's degree in public administration from DePaul University in 2017. Her professional experience includes being a television host for Global Leaders Network on WIN TV, a bilingual reporter, a business manager, a human relations commissioner, and an opera singer. In an email to Ballotpedia, a representative stated that Yoon "participated in the opting out of recreational marijuana in several villages, is a pro-life activist, and also helped in homeless shelters."[1][2]
