Chris Roy, Jr. is a former Democratic member of the Louisiana House of Representatives. He represented the 25th District from 2008 to 2012. He did not seek re-election in 2011.[1]
Roy is an attorney. He received his J.D. from the Southern University Law Center, and his B.S. in political science from Louisiana State University.
Roy is a member of the Democratic Caucus, and the Louisiana Rural Caucus.[2]

In mid-July 2011, Roy announced he would not seek another term in office. He cited "the constant travel to Baton Rouge and resulting time spent away from [his] family and law practice" as motivation for his decision.[3]

In 2007, Roy, Jr. was elected to the Louisiana House of Representatives. He defeated Lance Maxwell.[4]
