Joseph S. Dueker is a magistrate judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. He assumed office on May 1, 2023.

Biography

Education

Dueker received his B.A. from the University of Richmond and his J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law.[1][2]

Professional career

Dueker was a judge of the 21st Circuit Court in Missouri. He was appointed by Democratic Governor Jay Nixon on May 27, 2016, to succeed Judge Thomas J. Prebil. Dueker previously served as an associate judge on the court from 2010 to 2016.[3] Dueker has served as associate chief trial attorney for the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's Office beginning in 2008 but had been with the office for 17 years.[1]

Joseph S. Dueker joined the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri as a federal magistrate judge on May 1, 2023.[4]
