Recall elections against three of the nine members of the Loup City Public Schools Board of Education in Nebraska were held on September 14, 2021. Cindy Ericson, Wayne Klein, and Jamie Lewandowski were on the ballot.[1][2] A majority of voters cast ballots against the recalls, defeating the effort and keeping the three members in office.[3]
Ericson, Klein, and Lewandowski were elected to four-year terms on the board in 2019.[2]

The Sherman County Clerk notified the Loup City Public Schools Board of Education that enough recall petition signatures were submitted and verified to schedule the recall elections. The board voted on June 14, 2021, to schedule the recall elections for September 14, 2021.[4]
