Biography

Jesse Ruiz was born and lives in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated from Marist High School in 1983 and earned a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1988. He earned a J.D. degree from the University of Chicago Law School in 1995. His career experience includes serving as the chairman of the Illinois State Board of Education and vice president on the Chicago Board of Education. He is a partner at Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP.
