James O. Gordon (Democratic Party) is running for election to the Alabama Public Service Commission to represent Place 1. Gordon declared candidacy for the Democratic primary scheduled on May 19, 2026.[source]
Gordon (Democratic Party) was a member of the Alabama House of Representatives, representing District 98. Gordon assumed office in 2006. Gordon left office in 2010.
Biography
James Gordon's professional experience includes working as a chiropractor and scrub nurse at Floyd Medical Center. He served in the United States Navy from 1982 to 1985.
As of 2014, Gordon is a member of the Mobile Association of Retarded Citizens, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, Pleasant Valley Optimist Club, Utopia Club and Veterans of Foreign Wars.[1]
