Carlson's professional experience includes working as Senior Coordinator for Kohler Hospitality Group and serving in the Wisconsin Army National Guard.[2]

  • Our vets need to know that when they return home to Wisconsin they will be afforded every opportunity to succeed.

Reforming Wisconsin Education

  • Our children’s education is too important to let bureaucrats in Washington screw it up.

Reducing Wasteful Spending

  • Darryl has experience working alongside city department heads to use our tax dollars more effectively and efficiently.[4]

Elections for all 99 seats in the Wisconsin State Assembly took place in 2014. A primary election took place on August 12, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 2, 2014. Scott Grover Heinig was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Darryl Carlson and Jackie Jarvis were defeated by Tyler Vorpagel in the Republican primary. Heinig and Vorpagel faced off in the general election.[1][5] Republican Vorpagel defeated Grover Heining in the general election, and was elected to the seat.[6]
