Glenda K. Puett
Glenda Puett was a candidate for District 2 representative on the Union Public Schools school board in Oklahoma. Puett was defeated in the by-district general election on February 14, 2017. She was a 2016 Democratic candidate for District 76 of the Oklahoma House of Representatives. She ran unsuccessfully for the same seat in 2012 and 2014.

One of the five seats on the Union Public Schools school board was up for by-district general election on February 14, 2017. In his bid for re-election, District 2 incumbent Patrick Coyle faced challengers Lisa Ford and Glenda Puett. Ford was successful in ousting the incumbent from his seat.[1][2]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was April 11, 2014. Incumbent David Brumbaugh defeated Cliff Johns in the Republican primary, while Glenda K. Puett was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Brumbaugh defeated Puett in the general election.[6][7][8]
