Harry Griffith
Harry Griffith was a 2015 Republican candidate for District 100 of the Mississippi House of Representatives. He is running on a "Pro Jobs, Pro Business, Pro Education, Pro Health" platform.[1]
Griffith was a 2011 Democratic candidate for District 100 of the Mississippi House of Representatives.
Biography
Griffith received a B.S. in business management from the University of Mississippi State. He has been the CEO of Woodstock Manufacturing since 1969, CEO of Ray Griffith Company since 1996 and CEO of Mississippi Powder Coating since 1998. Griffith participated in United States Army Officer's Training from 1965-1969 and served in the National Guard from 1969-1975. He is a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity.[1]
Elections
2015
Elections for the Mississippi House of Representatives took place in 2015. A primary election was held on August 4, 2015. The general election took place on November 3, 2015. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 27, 2015.[2] No Democratic candidates filed for election. Incumbent Ken Morgan defeated Harry Griffith in the Republican primary. Morgan ran unchallenged in the District 100 general election.

2011
Griffith ran in the 2011 election for Mississippi House of Representatives District 100. He ran unopposed in the August 2 primary and was defeated by incumbent Republican Ken Morgan in the November 8 general election.[3][4]
