I have been a registered nurse (RN) for 27 years, a Nurse Practitioner for the last 6 years. I am married to my husband of 28 years, Mark Rackley. I am from Chandler Oklahoma.
  • Education, and supporting our teachers. School safety. Bringing back respect for our teachers.
  • Health care access and mental health resources are lacking. Budget cuts for mental health continues, while no solutions are brought forth.
  • I support law enforcement, but believe law enforcement has a duty of integrity to those in the community. I am pro 2nd amendment.
Health care access, mental health resources and making sure the vulnerable in our communities are supported and can thrive. Safe communities. Healthy environments without bio-sludge waste contaminating our land and ground water. Good roads and bridges. Rural access to high speed internet. May passion in for my district and the rural communities that live there.
Honesty and kindness. Maintaining their duty to their constituents.
As a nurse I have learned to be an Advocate for those in my care; I will apply those principles in my duties to my constituents.
Improving the lives and communities in my district.
I remember being in the second grade in science class when the space shuttle exploded. I was 6 or 7 years old.
Burger King was one of my first jobs and I worked there through the end of high school until I moved out of state.
Night Angel, the complete trilogy by Brent Weeks. It is a good read, but more so it was not a series I would have ever thought about reading if my son had not brought it up in conversation. I struggled to get my children to read when they were growing up, and my son never liked to read. That was until we finally found a series that caught his attention. His reading soared from there. Taking about books with my son is a joy I have. I am always interested in what he reads.
I loved Patricia Cornwell novels and her main character medical examiner Dr. Kay Scarpetta.
"Prize Worth Fighting For" by Jamie Kimmett
Obtaining my education against statistical odds. I left an abusive marriage and started college a pregnant single parent with every one I knew telling me I couldn't go to school and succeed. God's will, determination and self motivation all help. It was a daily struggle, but that is how I got through it. I woke up each day and made a list of what things I had to accomplish that day. If I had stopped to look at the whole picture, it might have been too over whelming. Anything worth doing is worth hard work.... I can work hard and fight.

I completed my BSN in 1995 from The University of Central Oklahoma (UCO) and then later went back and completed my Masters and Doctorate level classes in 2016 obtaining my DNP from Oklahoma City University (OCU)

After getting COVID and ending up on a ventilator, I became another statistic. This time I had the support of my husband, But I fought to get my health back and return to work taking care of my patients.

I have been at the bottom and lived in poverty, I understand the struggles life throws at us.
I believe the government branches should develop a good respectful working relationship. You can agree to disagree, but honesty and respect should color your interactions with colleagues.
Mental health crisis; immigration issues on the border are going to be affecting Oklahoma as well as all of America, Education; school safety; protecting constitutional rights; the rippling effects of anti-abortion laws and a foreseen increased need for maternal, infant and children's services. You name it...
Only Nebraska has a unicameral legislature. I believe a two body (House) legislature brings more balance and does not allow excess power to be wielded by a few.
No. I do not approve of career politicians. State government benefits from a multitude of insight, talents and experience from which to draw from.
Compromise may be necessary to achieve your goal if a solution can be found in compromise. However if you lose policy ground it may not be worth it. I guess it would depend on each circumstance.
