- Kelly Ayotte has served on the United States Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation since 2011 and the United States Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship since 2015.
- In November 2013, Ayotte voted for S.815 - the Employment Non-Discrimination Act of 2013, which "Prohibits covered entities (employers, employment agencies, labor organizations, or joint labor-management committees) from engaging in employment discrimination on the basis of an individual's actual or perceived sexual orientation or gender identity."[1]
- In 2013, Ayotte co-sponsored S.1626 - the Family Friendly and Workplace Flexibility Act of 2013, which "Amends the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 to authorize private employers to provide compensatory time off to private employees at a rate of at least 1 1/2 hours per hour of employment for which overtime compensation is required." It was introduced but not voted on.[2]
