Larry Kruse was a 2012 Republican candidate for District 42 of the Iowa State Senate.

Kruse served two terms on the Lee County Board of Supervisors from 2004-2012.

He attended the University of Iowa, receiving a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.[1]

Kruse ran in the 2012 election for Iowa State Senate District 42. He defeated Lee Harder in the Republican primary on June 5, 2012. Kruse was defeated by Rich Taylor (D) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
