  • After meeting with marijuana regulators in Colorado in September 2015, Martin O'Malley said he would “watch” and “learn” from what happened in Colorado and Washington before deciding whether he would support the federal legalization of marijuana.[2]
  • On August 4, 2015, O'Malley called for a constitutional amendment to protect voting rights against Republican efforts "to suppress the vote." In an email to supporters, O’Malley wrote, “Last year, Republican state legislators in 29 states introduced more than 80 restrictive bills to require a photo ID, make voter registration harder, or reduce early voting. We know why they're doing this: because Americans without a photo ID are disproportionately low-income, disabled, minority — and Democratic."[3]
