Nancy J. Lichtenstein was a judge on the Colorado Court of Appeals. She was appointed to the court by Democratic Gov. Bill Ritter on April 30, 2008, and was retained by voters in 2010.[1][2] Her eight-year term ended on January 7, 2019, and she did not file for retention.[3]

Education

Lichtenstein received her B.S. from Northwestern University in 1984 and her J.D. from the University of Denver College of Law in 1988.[1]

Career

Lichtenstein served as a deputy state public defender, appellate division, in Denver from 2001 until her appointment to the court of appeals. She was a solo practitioner from 1997 to 2001, and before that she served as a deputy state public defender, appellate division and trial offices, from 1988 to 1996.[1]
