Peter R. Palermo was a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. He served as a federal magistrate judge for over 40 years, beginning with his initial appointment on January 15, 1971. Palermo died on November 13, 2015, at the age of 97.[1][2][3]
