Philip Tufi
Philip Tufi was a 2014 candidate seeking election to the U.S. House to represent the 7th Congressional District of California. He previously ran as a 2012 Republican candidate for District 8 of the California State Assembly.
Biography
Tufi earned an A.S. in administration of justice from Redwoods College in 1991. He went on to earn an A.S. in logistics and transportation from Sacramento City College in 2002 and a Federal Railroad Administration engineers license from a major railroad in 2006. He also studied Russian at Syracuse University, Leningrad University and Florida Atlantic University.[1]
Professionally, Tufi has worked in a variety of industries including hospitality, sales and consulting. He works as a locomotive engineer.[1]

2014
Tufi ran in the 2014 election for the U.S. House to represent California's 7th District. The general election took place on November 4, 2014.
2012
Tufi ran in the 2012 election for California State Assembly District 8. He was eliminated in the blanket primary on June 5, 2012.[2][3][4]
