I have been a resident of Sanpete County for nine years and it is a very welcome home. I am married and we have two children with their own families. We are active in the LDS Church and I currently serve under the Manti Stake Presidency.

I an a graduate of the University of Utah with a Bachelors in Political Science and post graduate work. I was commissioned in the US Army and served ten years in active and reserve status. I have had a varied employment experience in hotel and apartment businesses as well as in sales and entrepreneurial pursuits.

I have served as the State Chairman and I am presently serving as the Sanpete County Chairman in the Constitution Party of Utah.

I have a great concern for rural Utah and fear that we do not have as great a voice as we should have. It will be my desire to represent our District to the best of my ability to protect our interests as well as for the citizens of the state of Utah.
  • As a member of the Constitution Party, I do feel that it is very important to follow the guidance and laws that have been established by our National and State Constitutions. I am very hesitant in the establishment of laws without examining their full impact once a law goes into effect.
  • It is of great concern that our governing remains at the lowest level possible, putting the maximum of decision making into local government and to not be held to bland, blanketing assumptions that leave out the local citizen and government.
  • There is a whole host of issues that confront the people of our Legislative District as well as for the rest of the citizens in our state of Utah. It will be my desire to have an open door for our fellow citizens to know not just what is important for the functioning of our state, but also for the well being of our people.
Agriculture, citizens' rights, water access and rights, alleviating tax burdens, parental rights, fair and effective relationships between the citizen and law enforcement/judiciary, ensuring that promised transparency in government does take place
