Tony Celeste was a 2011 independent candidate for District 4 of the New Jersey General Assembly.

Campaign themes

In an interview with the Gloucester County Times, Celeste listed his top priorities:

  • "My main focus would be to lower our property taxes and reinstate the property tax rebate. I have a plan that would immediately lower our property taxes for over 80 percent of the municipalities in New Jersey if the state would just distribute municipal aid evenly throughout the state. It is not fair to distribute hundreds of dollars more per home to some towns whiles others receive much less."[1]
