Lisa Romero (Republican Party) ran for election to the California State Assembly to represent District 11. She lost in the general election on November 6, 2018.
Biography
Romero earned an associate degree in nursing ADN-RN, bachelor's degree in nursing BSN-RN, and a master's degree in counseling. As of the 2018 election, was pursuing a doctorate of education. Her professional career includes working as a nurse and a professor and instructor of nursing. Romero worked as a contract RN at Travis Air Force Base in 2017. She has served as a court-appointed special advocate for foster children, as president of the Parent Teacher Organization, and as a volunteer for mental health, veterans, and homeless. Romero previously served as 2nd Officer of SCRCC.[1]

The two-term incumbent, Jim Frazier failed to obtain 50% of the vote in the primary, indicating that he is vulnerable. Assembly District 11 runs from Vacaville on the north to Brentwood on the south. It contains a large part of the Delta. It includes northeastern Contra Costa County, much of Solano County, and the southern part of Sacramento County along the Sacramento River. Its biggest cities are Fairfield and Antioch.
