Campaign themes
2014
Jobe's website highlighted the following campaign themes:[2]
- Excerpt: "The 84th District is unique in that we basically have two major industries – farming and tourism. We need to work together in a way that the tourist industry enhances the farming industry and vise versa."
- Excerpt: "I want to work to bring young business minded entrepreneurs back to small town Michigan."
- Excerpt: "It breaks my heart to see all of the closed up once thriving businesses in every small town. I want work to keep regulation in check, since every new regulation adds time and cost to doing business."
- Excerpt: "I support the idea of a part-time legislature. If a large state like Texas can do it, so can Michigan."
