My name is Brady Rouhoff, and I am proud to announce my candidacy for the Minnesota House of Representatives in District 20B, seeking the republican nomination.

Growing up in District 20B on a farm near Zumbro Falls, I spent my summers exploring the banks of the Zumbro River and my winters hunting the hills and riding snowmobiles across open fields. Those experiences shaped me. They taught me the value of hard work, responsibility, and resilience. My family also owned several small businesses in District 20B. Watching both the challenges and the rewards of running those businesses taught me honesty, community, and the importance of keeping opportunities close to home.

Today, I live in Zumbrota where I’m raising my three-year-old daughter. I want her to grow up surrounded by the same small-town values and rural landscapes that shaped me. Like so many of you, I love our open fields, our strong communities, and our conservative values. When I drive through District 20B, I want to see cornfields and family farms, not apartment buildings, housing developments, and urban sprawl. Our generational farmland is more than land; it’s our heritage, our livelihood, our hunting land, our snowmobile trails, and the future we owe our children.
  • I’m running to protect what makes our communities strong. I believe in less government control and more freedom for families, farmers, and small businesses. I believe rural areas should stay rural, that small-town businesses should thrive, our second amendment rights should be protected, and our conservative values should be defended.
  • I have a master’s degree in business administration which provides me with the tools to balance budgets, manage resources wisely, and craft solutions that work for the long run. I will bring that same approach to the legislature by making fiscally responsible decisions that protect taxpayers, eliminate waste, avoid fraudulent use of taxpayer dollars, and support growth in ways that strengthen our small businesses and preserve our rural way of life.
  • I hold a master’s degree in nursing leadership and have seen firsthand how the high cost of healthcare affects families and farmers. Too often, I’ve heard stories of hardworking farmers forced to sell their land because medical bills became overwhelming, and small business owners who had to walk away from what they built just to find a job that provides health insurance. No one should ever have to choose between their health and their livelihood. As your representative, I will be a strong voice for affordable, accessible healthcare in our rural communities, ensuring that the backbone of our district, our farmers and small business owners, can continue doing what they love without being burdened by medical costs.
