Betsy Hannig
Betsy Hannig (b. November 10, 1963) was a Democratic member of the Illinois House of Representatives, representing the 98th District. She was appointed March 10, 2009 to replace her husband Gary Hannig, who became Director of I-DOT. Hannig served in that position until 2011.
Hannig has formerly served as a Staff Member of the Citizens Assembly, Horse Stable Manager, Account Analyst with the Teachers Retirement System, and a youth community worker.
She is a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church, Horsemen's Council of Illinois, Scleroderma Foundation, and the Wolfpack Car Club.[1]

Hannig did not run for re-election in 2010.
