Dennis Lennox
Dennis Lennox was a 2010 Republican candidate for the 105th District seat in the Michigan House of Representatives.
Lennox attended Central Michigan University, where he studied political science and journalism. He previously served as drain commissioner for Cheboygan County.[1] (dead link)
Previous political experience
Lennox is a precinct delegate from Mullett Township and has been a delegate or alternate delegate to numerous state Republican conventions. In 2008, he was an alternate delegate to the Republican National Convention.
Elections
2010
Lennox ran in the 2010 election for Michigan House of Representatives District 105. He was defeated by Barry Anderson in the August 3 Republican primary.
2008
On November 4, 2008, Lennox defeated 78-year-old incumbent John Pietrangelo to win a four-year term as drain commissioner. [2] [3] He was only one of two Republicans in all of Michigan to defeat an incumbent Democrat in 2008. Lennox took office on January 1, 2009, and resigned on June 6, 2011.[1]
