Rita Martinson
Rita Martinson (b. September 11, 1937) is a former Republican member of the Mississippi House of Representatives, representing District 58 from 1992 to 2016.
Martinson did not run for re-election to the State House in 2015. Martinson served as Treasurer of the Madison County Republican Executive Committee from 1993 to 1997.
Biography
Martinson earned her B.A. from Millsaps College. Her professional experience includes working as a businesswoman, Vice President of GardenWorks and Marketing/Sales/Vice President of Green Oak Nursery and Florist.[1]

On November 8, 2011, Martinson won re-election to District 58 of the Mississippi House of Representatives. She defeated Bobby Dallas in the August 2 primary and was unchallenged in the November 8 general election.[2]

On November 6, 2007, Martinson was re-elected in District 58. She ran unopposed.[3]
