Moye ran in the 2013 election for New Jersey General Assembly District 34. Moye was bracketed with Rayfield Morton and defeated by Sheila Y. Oliver, Thomas P. Giblin, Clenard H. Childress, Jr., Denise Baskerville, and Beverly K. Williams in the June 4 Democratic primary. The general election took place on November 5, 2013.[2]
