A proud Eagle Scout and native son of New Jersey, I come from a family committed to the ideals of public service. Whether it was through our church, involvement with charity organizations, or community groups, we would always be guided to “leave things better than we found them.” That same philosophy applies to all that I do now.

Having attended North Hunterdon High School in 2017 I was honored to be one of our two state recipients for the United States Senate Youth Program (USSYP) scholarship. Recently at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, I was proud to serve as the 2020-2021 Rutgers Student Body President. In this role my team was responsible for working with local, state, and national policy makers to advance the needs of over 40,000 students while managing a multi-million dollar budget. We can take pride that our state flagship created the first COVID-19 relief fund in the nation with student leadership. tinyurlcom/rrf-report. Another proud moment was with mobilizing students to obtain record turnout on a referendum to divest the endowment from fossil fuels helping to protect our climate.

I proudly serve and work in our family small business.

  • Ensuring Our District Receives Its Fair Share of Our Taxes: For the past 12 years, our district has been sending more dollars out of the district than being brought in. What’s known as a “donor district”. With effective leadership we can finally get the critical resources or district needs.
  • Prioritizing Preservation and Climate Resiliency: New Jersey is warming faster than any other state in our Nation. Our District needs effective leadership on climate issues to preserve and protect the quality of our land, air and water resources. We will fight to incentivize preservation and conservation, fighting back against industrializing our farms, logging our public forests and the taking of our land for pipeline projects.
  • Investing in Sustainable Infrastructure and 21st Century Resources: We need infrastructure improvements and modernization now. We will create a regional infrastructure resiliency plan that meets the unique needs of our District. Solutions focused on fixing our roads, modernizing digital connectivity, growing our mass transit network, improving recreational amenities and hardening our power infrastructure. We will streamline governmental processes from small business licensing to permitting to the DMV. Our mission is to accelerate response timelines and ease pathways for businesses and citizens, saving time and money.
Higher Education Reform:

Our State needs to increase the resources provided to institutions of higher education. Not just traditional four year schools, but vocations and trades. In order to remain competitive, and retain the top talent we have in this state. We need to be proactive in seeking innovative ways to help students afford the ever-increasing cost of education while simultaneously examining ways to reduce their personal debt obligations. We cannot expect folks to live to their fullest potential if burdened by excessive debt.

Small Business Growth:

Working at a small family business I understand the hardships that many families face in order to provide their own livelihood and to that of loved ones. We must ensure that the state is taking steps to incentivize the innovation economy while removing overly burdensome regulations when appropriate.
To be able to bring critical resources those we are elected to serve. Operative word there being "serve". To communicate effectively with constituents and be humble in your own opinions.
Commerce and Economic Development; Education; Community Development and Affairs.
While canvassing there was a mother with a young child. Her child's name was Legacy. It is not often that a name takes such a literal meaning. What we do now is not only for ourselves, but for our children, their children, and those yet come. They are our legacy. Speaking with that mother as a firm reminder of why our choices now matter. We need to leave things better than we find them.
