Paul Secrest
Paul Secrest (Republican Party) ran for election to the Michigan House of Representatives to represent District 40. Secrest lost in the Republican primary on August 7, 2018.
Secrest was a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 12 of the Michigan State Senate.[1]

Elections for the Michigan State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election was held on August 5, 2014, and a general election took place on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was April 22, 2014. Paul Secrest defeated Kenneth VanNorwick in the Democratic primary. Incumbent Jim Marleau defeated Bob Gray in the Republican primary. Marleau defeated Secrest in the general election.[2][3][4][5]
