I am a Vermonter by choice, not birth. My family moved here in 2005 because of the freedoms protected by the Vermont Constitution. In the last 15 years I have watched as our little state plunged into economic chaos, passed oppressive taxation, enacted regulatory strangulation and welcomed the destruction of the citizen's right to keep and bear arms.

I have testified against unjust bills in the House, published rebuttals to false narratives and incorrect facts used against the rights of Vermonters by out-of-state activists and educated thousands of Vermonters as to their rights and responsibilities. Our state has poor performing schools, a 13% poverty rate and a 45% crime recidivism rate. But, it isn't Vermont that's broken, it's our government.

I pledge to help fix what's broken.
  • I pledge to seek the TRUTH on all issues presented, not to simply take the word of someone else.
  • I will NEVER vote in favor of ANYTHING that is unconstitutional, or diminishes the rights of Vermonters.
  • I am open to discuss any issues my constituents put before me and will research and advise to my best ability.
1. Vermont has been one of the safest states in the nation for over 200 years, but that has changed with our excessively high rate of recidivism, out-of-state drug trafficking, and the destruction of Vermonter's rights to bear arms for the defense of themselves and the state. This shall be addressed.

2. Vermont has a poor system for voter protections and a huge opportunity for voter fraud. I pledge to tackle this issue head-on.
3. I will oppose the use of false narratives, lies, and "doctored" statistics in committee testimony. In hearing after hearing in Montpelier, local and outside activists use "reports" and "studies" from biased sources that are used to negatively impact the rights of Vermonters. I have personally debunked many of those reports over the last 5 years. I will continue to do so.
4. Education is one of our largest failures in Vermont. From the destruction of the "one-room schoolhouse" with its multi-age classroom, to the consolidation of schools into larger districts, Vermont leadership has failed our children.

5. Burdensome taxes, micro-managing regulations, and poorly thought out legislation are issues that concern me deeply.
TRUTH and HONESTY are severely lacking inside the capitol building, the legislature may not like it, but I will bring it with me.

To UPHOLD the Constitution of Vermont and protect the citizens from unconstitutional bills.

To break with party lines when something being proposed is dangerous to freedom or an undue burden on the average Vermonter, or based on false pretenses and corrupted "data."
I am a dedicated researcher on issues pertaining to the topics I am discussing. I look for original sources, determine if the source is biased, and often try to replicate the study if the data does not make sense.
I will NOT stand to be lied to as a member of any committee.
I remember being awakened to watch the first steps of man on the moon on July 20, 1969. I was just 4 years old, but I remember it vividly as my grandparents thought it was a moment in history to be remembered. It was on my Grandfather's black-and-white television in his living room while I was visiting.
Being a collector of books with many thousands in the collection, and many thousands more read, I do not have a single "favorite" book, nor single favorite author.
I have an affinity for old books for their historical information, political books for their insight, educational books for their changing methodologies, railroading books for a glimpse at bygone eras, science fiction and fantasy for pure escapism, and anything with a gilded binding for pure aesthetics.
No. As we see every session in this small state, legislators bring with them their previous bed-fellows. Out-of-state influence is HUGE in our tiny state and ALWAYS overrides the voices of actual Vermonters.
Our legislators will actually get up and leave the room while a person with a differing opinion begins to speak. The legislators without previous connections or already paid-off by lobbyists will sit and listen.
The only "relationship" that is needed between legislators is that they know you are HONEST and speak the truth. This is already well known to many legislators in both parties in Montpelier that I will not stand for lies and false statistics based on my previous record of activity at the capitol. Relationships allow for the truth to be "sidelined" in search for "unity" or collaboration.
The House Judiciary is the committee that needs oversight. So many unconstitutional bills have been voted out of committee along party lines that should never have seen the light of day. Vermont is a sadder state for what began in that committee. The Constitution of Vermont is trampled over relentlessly there, and needs a voice.
