Jim Steineke
Jim Steineke (Republican Party) was a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing District 5. He assumed office in 2011. He left office on July 27, 2022.
Steineke (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Wisconsin State Assembly to represent District 5. He won in the general election on November 3, 2020.
Steineke announced on January 18, 2022, that he would not run for re-election.[1] He resigned on July 27, 2022.[2]
Biography
Steineke graduated from Wauwatosa High School and attended both the Milwaukee and Oshkosh branches of the University of Wisconsin.
Steineke was an Outgamie County supervisor from 2006 to 2011, and served the Town of Vandenbroek as town chair from 2007 to 2011 and town supervisor from 2005 to 2007.

Elections for all 99 seats in the Wisconsin State Assembly took place in 2014. A primary election took place on August 12, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 2, 2014. Jeff McCabe was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Incumbent Jim Steineke was unopposed in the Republican primary. McCabe and Steineke faced off in the general election.[7][8] Incumbent Steineke defeated McCabe in the general election, and was re-elected to another term.[9]
