Biography
William Barbour served in the U.S. Air Force from 1985 to 2013. Barbour graduated from the Albuquerque Academy. Barbour earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder, in 1983, a graduate degree from Air War College in 2010, and a graduate degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2015.[1]

- Strong families are the backbone of a strong nation, and pro-family rights start with a simple truth: parents, not bureaucrats, are responsible for raising children. Families should have the freedom to teach their values, choose the best education for their kids, and protect their children from harmful ideologies and inappropriate content without government interference. We need policies that make it easier to form and sustain healthy homes, safe communities, and stable marriages, not policies that penalize work, undermine parent authority, or push the state into the middle of family life. Pro-family leadership means defending parental rights, supporting faith and community, and putting children’s well-being ahead of political agendas.
- The Second Amendment isn’t a suggestion; it’s a God-given and Constitution-protected right that stands between free citizens and a government that’s grown far too comfortable with control. Law-abiding Americans should never be punished for the actions of criminals, and we should never have to ask permission to defend our families, our homes, or our communities. “Common sense” gun laws too often become a slow-motion disarmament of the people, and history proves that once rights are surrendered, they rarely come back. We don’t need more restrictions; we need enforcement of existing laws, stronger prosecution of violent offenders, and the courage to defend liberty without apology.
- Constitutional conservatism means the Constitution is the limit, not a suggestion, and government only has the authority the people gave it. It’s about returning power to states, communities, and families instead of unelected agencies and career politicians who rewrite laws through regulation. Conservatives believe in equal justice under the law, separation of powers, secure borders, fiscal responsibility, and a government that lives within its means, because debt is just another form of control over the next generation. When we follow the Constitution as written, we protect freedom, preserve self-government, and keep liberty from being traded away one “temporary” program at a time.
